Two women in Finland. One: righteous & godly. The other: a party animal. Godly one goes to trial.

Isaiah 5:20 (“They call good evil, and call evil good.”) is happening in so many countries. Let me tell you about two women in Finland in top level governmental leadership. The two are in stark contrast to each other.
Former Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin
FINNISH WOMAN NO. 1:
Sanna Marin was the Prime Minister of Finland from 2019 until only two months ago, June 20, 2023. In 2019, at age 34, she became the youngest head of state in the world. Raised in what she called a “rainbow family,” her “parents” consisted of two women. (Most people know that God purposely designed life so that it comes from a male (sperm) and a female (egg), thus “parents” means a father and a mother.)

While in office, she was a party animal, and has continued acting out in immature ways in the two months she has been out of office. She has recently left both public office – she was defeated in the last election, coming in third – and has also left her husband. While in office, she threw raucous parties complete with topless women involved in highly suggestive poses. When confronted, she responded (regarding whomever posted them) that taking and posting the pictures was “inappropriate.” She did not admit that the actual behavior was “inappropriate.” So promiscuous were her parties that people demanded that, while the Prime Minister, she be drug tested. She openly talked about her alcohol consumption but swore she did nothing illegal.

One year ago, the August 19, 2022 edition of the New York Post ran pictures and an article: “The ‘clearly intoxicated’ Social Democrat (Prime Minister Sanna Marin) ‘danced intimately with at least three different men’ and ‘sat on the laps of two different men,’ one witness told Finnish tabloid Seiska.” This was occurring while she was married. Although she and her husband were together for 19 years, they married only three years ago. They have recently divorced.
Päivi Räsänen

WOMAN NO. 2:
Päivi Räsänen is also from Finland. She is a medical doctor. She has been married to a Lutheran pastor who is also the President of a Bible College. They have five children and 10 grandchildren. She has a been a Member of Parliament in Finland for 28 years. She is the former Minister of the Interior.

Dr. Räsänen faces either heavy fines or possibly prison. What did she do? What was her crime? On social media, in a post to the Bishop of her denomination, she quoted Scripture. She cited Romans 1:24-27 which states, “24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

For quoting Scripture, she has been repeatedly interrogated by the police. She was taken to trial. She was found not guilty. Unhappy with the verdict, the prosecutor is dragging her back into hearings again, costing huge sums of money for legal representation.

Woman No. 1 lived wild and raucous. Fortunately, she was finally voted out of office. However while in office, she paid no price for her inappropriate conduct.

Former Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin needs Jesus. She is confused and lost. Would you take a moment and pray now for her to repent of sin, to find forgiveness, healing and wholeness? Jesus specializes in persons like Sanna. He died for her sins. May she embrace Him.

Woman No. 2 lived for God and stood on Biblical principles. She has been in court for years because she believes, and cited, the Bible.

Current Finnish Member of Parliament Päivi Räsänen is walking with the Lord, in holiness and righteousness, but is being persecuted for her faith. Would you pray Psalm 91:3 over her: “Surely He (God) shall deliver you (Päivi Räsänen) from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.”

Here is her August 7, 2023 press release:
NOTE: This is not some distant case. This court hearing could have ripple effects across many countries, coming eventually to our own. This is nothing short of the ostracization and the criminalization of Christianity.
Let me ask you an important question: Is this kind of reporting helpful to you? It comes only with a team of persons. It costs. Will you become a monthly partner with us now?
