In 2017, I had the tremendous privilege to partner with my wonderful friend (and then Member of the Knesset) Yehudah Glick to organize the first study of the Hebrew Scriptures in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) where Jews and Christians studied the Tenakh, led by Jewish rabbis. It as awesome. We had six such events. Then came Covid, and we could not meet for three years. But today was our 7th such meeting, organized by Rabbi Glick. It was awesome!
One of the great honors of my life are the times I have had the profound privilege - thanks to my wonderful friend, Rabbi (former Member of the Knesset) Yehudah Glick - to play a small role in an event in the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament.
Background:
We were staying at the Mt. Zion Hotel on October 30, 2014, the night that - directly across the street - Yehuda Glick was shot four times point blank in the chest by a Palestinian gunman. He miraculously survived.
Fast forward:
We happened (providentially) to be in the Knesset a year or so later when I saw a tall redhead walk out of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office. I asked him if he was Yehuda Glick. He responded, “The last time I checked, I was.” He was being sworn into office as a Member of the Knesset moments later.
Fast forward again:
A year or so later, he and I were walking in the Knesset. I said “Rabbi, how about us starting a Bible study here in the Knesset?” Unknown to me he had been dreaming of doing that for sometime. So in 2017, we launched the first Bible study in the Knesset with Jews and Christians studying the Bible together, being led by the wonderful teaching of Jewish rabbis.

We have just completed almost 40,000 miles in a few weeks, to 15 different nations, in which most of them we met with government leaders, Members of Parliament, former Prime Ministers and Presidents. Rosemary Schindler Garlow gathered flags from the nations, to present them to the Lord in Jerusalem via a Member of the Knesset in Jerusalem. She declared for them all to remain or become “Sheep Nations” (Matt 25).

Then in time, God brought to us wonderful wives once again.For the record, Yehuda is the most fun and energetic rabbi you have ever met. With no warning, he may break out in song, singing, “This is the day that the Lord hath made.”If you hang out with him, get ready for fun!
