Thoughts from America Being Rededicated to God

While many of you were participating in REDEDICATE 250, those of us in Israel were joining with you as best we could, from Israel’s holy sites.

While Americans gathered in Washington DC for, or watched by livestream, REDEDICATE 250, we were with a group in Israel.

We participated in REDEDICATE 250 by playing the video of President Trump reading the Scripture while we were in Jerusalem. Watch his video here.

We then listened to Speaker Mike Johnson pray the majestic REDEDICATION PRAYER while driving through Samaria (an area that needs to be formally recognized as being Israel, formally annexed by Israel). Watch his video here.

When he asked the crowd to go to their knees, we did that as well, at Shiloh, on the very site where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years when Shiloh was the Capitol of Israel before Jerusalem. Three powerful videos. Three profoundly significant locations.

Standing in line double file, waiting to get into the Rededication of America venue on the Mall in DC, I was struck by the demonstration of unity of purpose among the people who came from all over the US. We all knew why we were there.

These were serious Christians. People were prepared to do whatever it took. And for some it was a four hour waiting line. Going through security took a long time. So the event started with most of us outside, often listening on cell phones. Thank you to the Salvation Army for passing out water to those in line as well as seated during the blazing hot day.  

Thank you President Trump for making this day possible. And for the spectacular outdoor staging that was so appropriate.

A highlight was knelling on our knees as Lou Engle lead us in repentance before Almighty God. Tears came to many of us. With Speaker Johnson more tears came in that tender profound moment of Rededication.

Garland and I (Tamara) were blessed to attend Rededicate 250 on the Mall in D.C. on Sunday. This event was so much more than fabulous speakers, which there were, and excellent worship and praise bands and choirs, which there were. President Trump called Americans to come to the Mall to rededicate America unto God.

People came. Many stood in line for hours to enter the secured area which was too small. Somehow that made it even more special. It was a once-in-the-life of America event for our governmental leaders, ministers, and Christians from all walks of life to stop for one day, lift the name of Jesus high and rededicate America unto God.

The highlight of the day-long event came late in the afternoon when Lou Engle and Dutch Sheets called us to kneel before God and repent as a people and a nation. This was the culmination of 26 years of Lou Engle holding 12-hour solemn assembles in stadiums, “The Call”, all around the country.

Dutch had joined him in leading many of the assemblies. Hundreds of thousands had joined them through the 26 years. It really felt as though there was finally breakthrough for all of Lou and Dutch’s ministry.

Following Lou and Dutch on stage, Speak of the House Mike Johnson led us in a powerful prayer of rededication of America unto God. Yes, the Speaker of the House! No one was worried about the separation of Church and State or any other false narrative.

The President called and the people responded. I have been on the Mall in D.C. for many prayer events, for inaugurations and other rallies. None compared to Rededicate 250. Such an honor to be there. Thank you President Trump.
