As you know, our brother-in-law, Keat Wade, graduated to heaven on August 27th. He and my sister, Judy Garlow Wade, were the co-founders of the Well Versed Prayer Ministry, and led the team which prays on the World Prayer Network calls each Wednesday and Sunday night.

Keat was a most humble and modest man. He never self-promoted. He was well-educated and had served as a professor and as the Dean of Students at Oklahoma Wesleyan University (BWC) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His wife of 43 years died of cancer in 1996. In 1999, he met and married my sister Judy. They enjoyed over 24 years of marriage and ministry together.

He was a “prophetic poet,” publishing 793 poems, most of them in four books that were published during his lifetime, along with a fifth one, ominously titled Beckoned, Soaring into Beyond, which is yet to be published. Debbie Augustine prepared a large Legacy Board of Keat’s life. Standing beside it is Tamara Seymour Favorito, Well Versed Board Member and Intercessor.

Robert Weinger, the official Shofar Sounder for Well Versed / World Prayer Network from Israel, ended the memorial service with an amazing rendition of “Taps.”
