Belinda Campbell's Prayer

I have never used an entire blog post to print someone’s prayer, however, today is an exception. I think it might encourage you.
Dr. Belinda Campbell, an outstanding Christian leader and pastor from Atlanta prayed these powerful words:

“We decree, ‘The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever.’
In the spirit of unity and love, we pray:
Our Father, Yahweh, God, and Lord of all creation!
As a house of prayer, we come boldly and repentant into your presence with thanksgiving, and into your courts with praise.

We thank and honor you for Christ Jesus, our High Priest and King forever, and for the power
of His blood that continues to forgive us our sins and trespasses, and for your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who lives in us.

We come before your throne of grace on behalf of our nation to ask for mercy, for compassion, for righteous vindication, from the unjust and evil wickedness that is rampant in our nation. Many battles are forged against our nation, with intent to overtake and posses our land. So we ask for your mercy that triumphs over judgement. We ask that you reset this nation with your truth, your justice, and your righteousness. And may the spirit of the fear of the Lord mantle our nation again.

We decree your word from Psalms 45 (TPT), “In your glory and grandeur go forth in victory! Through your faithfulness and meekness, the cause of truth and justice will stand. Awe-inspiring miracles are accomplished by your power, leaving everyone dazed and astonished. … Your glory-Kingdom, O God, endures forever, for you are enthroned to rule with a justice-scepter in your hand! You are passionate for righteousness and you hate lawlessness.”

We turn to you for help! We can not win these battles by our own strength, or our own skill or strategy. So our eyes look toward the hills from whence comes our help. Our help is from you. You alone are our strength and refuge, a very present help in times of trouble.

We ask Father, that you Jehovah will watch over this nation, guard and guide her. You will protect her from all danger day and night. You will keep us from every form of evil and calamity.
Though the weapons be formed against us, they shall not prosper! For when the enemy comes in, you O God, like a flood will raise a standard against him. We ask Father, raise up your standard! We decree, Father, you are the God who is with us and fight for us.

We remember your word in Deuteronomy 20:3-4, “…Hear, O Israel! Today you are on the verge of battle, with your enemies. Do not let your hearts faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them. For the Lord, your God, is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” We therefore decree our hearts are encouraged and strengthened in the Lord, and we shall not faint. We will not fear, or cave in, or quit in well doing for you, O God, are faithful who has promised.

Father, we believe your word; we believe you are the God of the impossible; we believe we are overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ and the word of His testimony, and our testimony; we believe you are the only God of heaven and earth, and you rule over all the kingdoms. And in your hand is power and might to save, no one is able to withstand you.

We ask for grace to continue to stand still and see your salvation and overcoming victory for our nation. We decree that we are supernaturally infused with strength through Christ Jesus, and with His power flowing though us, we stand victorious!

We continue to position ourselves in tenacious faith, and in the power of your might. We garb ourselves with the belt of truth to stand in triumph; with holiness as the protective armor to cover our hearts; our feet shod with the gospel of peace, in alertness and awareness; and taking the shield of faith to quench the fiery arrows from the evil ones; the helmet of salvation upon our heads, and the living word as a sword in our mouths. Onward to victory, Christian soldiers!

As we stand still, we bless the Lord whose name is Faithful and True; a man of war, who is Champion defender of those who love Him. He who has not and will not give us as prey to the teeth of our enemies. His grace causes our soul(s), and the soul of our nation to escape as a bird from the snare of the fowler.

We therefore decree the snare(s) set by every enemy is broken, and we escape, for our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

We plead the blood of Jesus tonight, and decree:

‘For the Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever! (3 times).

The Lord is our strength and song!
He has become our salvation!
He is our God, and we will exalt Him!
The Lord is a man of war, and full of mercy!
The Lord is His name!

Now Lord strengthen our President, his family, his constituency, and administration.
And for our vice President as well.
We pray for wisdom from heaven to come to him, the wisdom from above be set in his mouth. Wisdom that the enemy cannot resist or contradict.
We ask that your divine hand will be about him for divine protection.
We ask that his eyes of understanding will be opened, O God, to know your council and to know your wisdom, and that your light will shine upon his path.

Father, we thank you tonight that he is fully shielded by your hand of mercy, and your hand of grace and favor.

In Jesus name we pray, Lord!

We anticipate victory and overcoming for the United States of America.

“For you are good, and your mercy endures forever!”

In Jesus name!
